Royal Mile Walking Tour
Come and explore the history and mystery of Edinburgh's Old Town, you might learn a little, laugh a little or maybe even both!
Starting at the top of the Royal Mile in the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town your guide will lead you into Edinburgh’s historic past. You will hear about the characters and events that shaped our city. Along the way you will see St Giles Cathedral a site of worship for over a thousand years. The Mercat (market) Cross a place of proclamations, punishments and celebrations. You will also hear about the people who have lived in this city from the common to the extra ordinary, Adam Smith to John Knox, Robert Burns to Burke and Hare.

Starting point: Outside Gladstone’s Land, Lawnmarket.

End point: Outside the Palace of Holyroodhouse.
